Now that our fabulous 2016 Pantomime season is over, the team over at the Maxines Feathers workshop are ready to recap some of our highlights and favourite pieces! Panto is always an exciting and busy time for us, and this year has been no different.
Our biggest and most flamboyant task to date came in the form of QDOS’ London Palladium production of ‘Cinderella’ starring the lovely Julian Clary, Paul O’Grady and Amanda Holden. We created a stunning array of headdresses and hats full of glittery camp and plumes a plenty! A particular favourite of ours was Amanda’s stunning finale feathered bustle. With such a fantastic cast and an incredible stage we couldn’t help but have so much fun with these pieces, check out some of the photos below…
An old favourite of ours is always the Birmingham Hippodrome(?), this years production of Dick Whittington gave us a great cast and a whole host of designs to imagine. From feathery snowflakes to gorgeous villager hats and the Sultan’s Palace, we always enjoy working on this production!
Up in Aberdeen, Elaine C Smith looked fabulous as ever as the Fairy Godmother in Dick McWhittington; wearing not one, but two of our feathery creations!
Keep an eye out for our regular updates on our Facebook and Twitter. We can’t wait to share all our exciting creations with you!
